Ok. I'll admit it. I don't fit the mold. Since early childhood, conforming to the lifestyle society demanded of me was like being sentenced to prison. I gave it a gallant effort. Really I did, but I was hatched an eagle, destined to fly solo.
I tried Corporate America and, although I developed valuable business and leadership skills, it just simply wasn't for me. Managers and companies dictated my life, what hours I worked, the projects I worked on, the direction I headed. Worst of all, they told me when I would take time off for personal pursuits. I belonged to them. My life was not my own. I felt hopeless. So I gathered what courage I could muster, ran to the edge of a tall cliff, and... I jumped.
I ended it all...life as I'd lived came to an abrupt end. I hired a personal coach and set out on a new adventure. I built my own business around the lifestyle I wanted. My leap from the top of that cliff was not without scary moments. I looked down a couple of times and thought about the pain of crashing. But soon, with the wind of independence beneath my wings, I soared above it all with a freedom I'd never known.
Until I began to soar as a lady eagle, I didn't know there were others. I soon met countless women who wanted to fly solo. They wanted to carve out an exciting career on their own terms but didn't really know where to start. They wanted to be true to their inner being, to achieve emotional balance. I've made a life of helping these women live their dreams. I teach lady eagles to soar.
Today, as the founder of Single Source Coaching®, I work with those adventurous women to create emotionally balanced businesses around their own standard of excellence. We begin wherever they are and explore their inner portrait of the ideal lifestyle. I help them identify what they really want to contribute to their world while earning a living. I assist them in the planning and execution of an emotionally honest plan to achieve those goals. The result? Authenticity. A balanced and peaceful life. A fulfilling career that really means something...their way. It really doesn't get much better than that.
Here's to your solo flight, Lady Eagle,
